Logitech M187 Wireless Mini Mouse Review

M187 uses 1 AAA battery as its power source, and it isn’t included in the purchase. To install the battery is quite easy. At the bottom of this mouse, there is a cover that we can open by pressing it a little and then sliding it down so you will see one slot for the battery. And you will find NANO RECEIVER that is sitting neatly in the slot that is ready to be installed on a computer or laptop without the need to install additional software.

Also Two Tone Receiver. Anyway, the red list on the nano receiver looks very cute.

Still, at the bottom of the mouse, we see above the compartment for the battery. And the receiver has an ON / OFF switch to activate and deactivate this mouse. Yeah, so it doesn’t automatically die when you use it ?? Yes, it seems so, so you must remember to turn it off when you finish using it. But I use this mouse with Alkaline batteries with daily usage of about 5-8 hours of qualified cells, aka no symptoms of a weak battery until March 2017.

The ON / OFF switch on the bottom. The mini mouse that has a length of 81.9mm X Height 31.8mm X width 49.4mm and weighs only 51.9 grams has a range of up to 10 meters with 2.4 GHz wireless technology with a sensor resolution of 1000 DPI. Logitech M187 supports OS Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 – Mac and Linux.

When used, this mouse is comfortable. Still, for long-term use, it makes hands aching quickly because of its miniature that forces the palm to hang while my hands classified as medium. So I do not recommend for those of you who have jumbo-sized hands, except for uses that are it doesn’t take long and don’t forget to turn the switch to OFF when you’re done using it.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a mouse that is simple to carry around with a small size, neat and already wireless, this Logitech M187 can be an option, and don’t be afraid to lose receipts because the storage slot is behind the battery cover at the bottom of the mouse. The precision of the sensor also deserves thumbs up. But the thing to remember here is that the mini form will make those of you with large hands get sore quickly for extended use.
