Logitech G613 Gaming Keyboard Review

The design of the Logitech G513 does not see much change at all compared to the Logitech G413. It’s still a very concise keyboard made of a rigid plastic frame with a 5052 aircraft grade aluminum sheet for its top plate.

Most of the metal coating brushed on the PC peripherals is fingerprint magnets, but a combination of aluminum and magnesium Logitech seems to be built to drive it. The frameless design of this keyboard also Offers floating keycaps that make cleaning dust and food crumbs easier.

As we mentioned before, Logitech G513 introduces a new adjustable RGB lighting system. It’s bright and lively like the illuminations the company has integrated into high-end peripherals, and the new LightSync technology will help synchronize the lighting effects across your gaming settings.

In comparison, the Liner Romer-G switch feels sturdy but without causing too many obstacles. Thanks to the box nature of the underlying mechanism, each button is pressed evenly and stops almost silently. Comparatively, we always feel Cherry MX Red offers so little resistance, chat buttons, and feels uneven when moved.

The Bad > Pricier than last year’s, USB pass-through still USB 2.0, No dedicated media shortcuts.

The Good > Romer-G Linear superior to Cherry MX Red, Plush palm rest included, RGB lighting is brilliant.

Conclusion > G513 isn’t a direct sequel to the incredibly affordable Logitech G413, but rather a mid-range keyboard with the best linear key switch.
