Logitech Craft Keyboard Review

For all its uses, Logitech Craft’s wireless keyboard design is effortless and unpretentious, with a thin, sleek and round appearance that allows it to blend in with any desktop settings and reduce clutter. Black with a silver cross at the top, it offers a matte touch that gives a smooth texture under your fingertips and helps keep oily fingerprints at bay.

It features dual connectivity – 2.4GHz wireless via Logitech’s Unifying USB receiver and Bluetooth – on / off switch to save battery, USB Type-C port for charging, and 10 meters wireless coverage. But that is only the beginning.

The main function of the Craft is a medium-sized silver dial/dial in the upper left corner. This simple-looking addition, nicknamed Crown, is responsible for many of the creative applications of this keyboard. We will discuss this in-depth in the features section, but we want to provide accessibility, responsiveness, and smoothness quickly here.

But back to the Crown, which is worth running properly basically the medial keys touch and dial-sensitive Craft and the secret of the keyboard’s ability to perform creative functions without burdening the user with additional frills or too many extra buttons.

The Crown basically allows you to turn the wheel and press and tap the touch-sensitive button to change settings. On the Windows 10 or macOS desktop only, turning the wheel will, by default, increase and decrease your volume level and from there you can press the button to decide to change other settings.

In software/applications, Crown offers a certain level of control, allowing you to access some basic tools and options and adjust their settings with just one tap, click and play. In Photoshop, for example, you can tap and rotate the button to adjust several settings for each editing tool. In Lightroom, you can tap and play to adjust things like temperature, lighting, and contrast. In a web browser, you only need to rotate the button to switch tabs.

As soon as you install Craft, the keyboard automatically detects which software/application you have installed and allows you to choose what you want to optimize. After you make your selection, automatically installs a profile for each software/application.

The Bad > Limited access to software/apps, Pricey

The Good > Media control button, Good actuation point, Tactile key response, Customizable for productivity

Conclusion > This isn’t any regular keyboard. It’s slim, minimalistic deck swaggers with potential thanks to a plethora of features made to improve productivity and assist creativity.
